Pics of the girls

This past week we have continued to battle the lingering colds that have come through our house like a tornado, hence the lack of blogging. LK was the last to catch it so we headed back to the doctor. We are on the mend when it comes to the cold, however we now have two teething babies in pain with fever, waking and crying throughout the night. They are extremely irritable and fussy all day as well. Oh the fun! We've got meds on board, lots of tlc and we are trying to make them as comfortable as possible but sometimes our efforts seem futile. Needless to say we are tired parents around here. Such is life and thankfully William is a fabulous father so he helps tremendously with the work load. We have been able to laugh about it and it has reminded us of where we were exactly one year ago at this time. We don't miss the sleep deprivation but we sure miss our snuggly newborns.

Sunday afternoon, we took a drive down to Pensacola Beach. I hadn't been to the beach or seen the area at all. We drove around and it was funny to me to see the touristy part of our town. Lots of people watching and I chuckled inside remembering my friend Jen calling it the redneck riviera...trust me Jen, you would not have been let down!

Ellie joinging in...with two girls, their daddy is in trouble

Watching Sesame Street

Ellie standing on top of her slide, she thinks she is big stuff
Ellie is our fearless child and she is able to climb up on this thing all by herself. She surprised me bc I didn't think she could get up there but I started loading the dishwasher, turned around to check on them and this is how I found her. She doesn't really know how to get down yet...but she doesn't want to get down either! She enjoys the view from the top and continually has her mouth wide open saying "AHHHHHHHHH." Funny girl, always keeping my parenting skills in check.
